Source order

1. Primary official source: Parks Canada, the Town of Rocky Harbour, provincial agencies or another responsible authority.
2. Operator source: for a tour, restaurant, accommodation or service that controls its own schedule and pricing.
3. Trusted secondary source: only when a primary source does not answer the question.

Changing facts

Hours, fees, closures, schedules and business operations can change quickly. Those facts should include a review date or a direct official check where practical. We do not hide uncertainty behind precise-looking numbers.

Distances and estimates

Official trail distances are kept as published. Driving distances and travel times may be rounded because road work, weather, wildlife and stops affect the real trip. Rounded planning information is more useful than false precision.

Recommendations
